Damilare Qudus popularly known as QDot just released his single Moriamo which is the story of his life. Moriamo Alege is Qudus's grandmother who doubles as his guardian.

From the storyline, his parents were divorced before he was born. He had to grow up with his paternal grandmother, Moriamo daughter of Alege. 

He narrated how he got to stay with the now late Moriamo and how much she loved him. He got to know she wasn't his real mother when he had accident on his way to Sagamu in Ogun state. He also made mention of the incident that led to her losing one eye and how she went to comma for days before finally declared dead. It was a nostalgic story and a very sad one at that.

Does the storyline of Moriamo by Qdot sound familiar? 

Well, for us. We think it does. We had similar story from 9ice in his Anytime. Alapomeji also narrated how his mummy agba took good care of him. 

Do not forget Dear Mama by 2pac, Coat of many colors by Dolly Parton and even Ghetto Dream by Dagrin all show the importance of having a woman in one's life.
